Flashback Friday | Fever London
Fever London is a previous line that was showcased at Vancouver Fashion Week. The designer behind Fever London is Cressida Kirby, a talented young woman who has an honours degree in fashion from the Westminster University of London.
Fever London is a contemporary fashion label that is inspired by vintage prints and designs, but bringing a contemporary and modern feel. The pieces are all innovative, yet timeless pieces that can be worn in multiple settings from the office to a weekend patio party.
Kirby finds her inspiration from vintage clothes and furniture, prints, feminine silhouettes, eye catching colour palettes and from wandering around flea markets. It’s all about recreating new items from the past, and being inspired to do so. Kirby brings all these together into her designs.
Kirby launched the line in 1996 and walked the runway at Vancouver Fashion Week in April 2010. She now has her own website, and a gem of a shop in London where her designs can be purchased. Below, I have picked out some of my favourite pieces from the Fever line for this upcoming Fall.
