The oranges and greens in the patterned sweaters were eye catching, to say the least! Best little black dresses with the best fit and lots of shine. Gold belts and short skirts, so flirty and feminine. Coats, for variety and style, a favorite judging from sighs from audience.

Little Houses

Shanah Flodstrom

Based in Vancouver and produced locally, the coats, especially, feature high color, great button details and absolutely a form fit. The winter white dress and bright red capri pants and black shirt would blow any winter gray away.

Summer in Fall

This collection featured a care-free, energetic look with lots of fringes, hats, sequins and color. Reminded me very much of a walk along Kits beach, perfect to remember the sun when the rains of Fall begin. Many camera flashes from the audience as the stunning black ballerina skirted dress graced the runway. Dynamic models really worked the outfits.

Men’s Wear All Men Should See

Banchong Douangphrachanh’s Regatta Collection began with a series of words describing each outfit and an accompanying picture.(Available on Utube) Loved the color and style of this British inspired menswear. Vests and jackets fit closely so no bulky looks. Think Bond on his yacht in Coal Harbor.

Blushing Boutique

This is definitely a ’boutique’ collection, with beautifully crafted, colorful and uniquely designed clothing for all women. The dresses, long, short, formal and informal look stunning on all shapes and sizes. Like her store, her collection is gorgeously accessorized. This show, with so many fantastic looks, great hair and make-up and lively, animated models, was a nod to the pin up gal and yet could be easily adapted to any wearer’s ideal look.
