From the Lecture Hall to the Runway: Vancouver Fashion Week will celebrating the International Women’s Day March 8 at The Canadian Heart & Stroke’s The Heart Truth Celebrity Fashion Show in Toronto with A-list Canadian celebrities modelling one-of-a-kind creations by top Canadian fashion designers to raise awareness about women’s risk for cardiovascular disease. Brand-strategist Professor Ayten Archer and Miss Universe Canada 2010 Elena Seminka will be reporting for VFW .

The star-studded model line-up includes Reality TV star Shannon Tweed with her husband KISS bassist Gene Simmons; singers Jully Black, Divine Brown.

Media personalities include Jessi Cruickshank, Liza Fromer, and Natasha Gargiulo; Isabelle Maréchal, and Angie Seth. Also on the roster are actors Ali Liebert, Lisa Ray, and Gabrielle Rose; Lauren Lee Smith, Jessica Steen, and Pascale Hutton and Tamara Taylor. Not to mention soap star Susan Haskell and Olympic champion Catriona Le May Doan.
