SIP Resto Lounge: VFW’s official after-show destination

From Nov.1st-Nov.6th, Vancouver Fashion Week is proud to announce that our after show destination for eats and drinks is Vancouver’s own SIP Resto Lounge.
Nestled in the cradle of the Granville strip, SIP Resto Lounge is said to be Vancouver’s number one hit destination for pre-party dinner and drinks. Surrounded by one-of-a-kind boutiques and Gentlemens’ clubs, SIP Lounge stands out from among the host of eclectic stores around it.
Thanks to the genius entrepreneurialship of owners Ray Staniscia and Ryan Newman, this ground floor space is transformed into an upscale-casual dining experience, with a modern New York feel. Think dark meets sexy.
Whenever I’m there, I always feel Batman will walk in any minute and chill at the bar with a cocktail, after a night of fighting crime. Cool huh?
This place is buzzing with all the right moves: great cocktails, an alcohol-infused menu (beer fries anyone??), a reasonably priced menu, and a friendly without-being-overbearing service.
According to one 21-year-old from Burnaby,

“This place is truly a must go for dinner, lounge, drinks, hanging out, people watching..well just about anything!”

So why SIP Resto Lounge?

The place is designed with a reverse-mind concept, owners Ray and Ryan felt that the kitchen need not be a separate entity anymore..So, they moved it right to the front of the house. This unique and open-concept idea allows guests to be entertained while they wait for their food.

Using only fresh and fine ingredients, SIP‘s executive Chef created a palette of flavors set to tingle all five of your senses. For those of you who like to play up the flavors in your food or experiment with different textures, try the SoCo Spicy Chicken (Chicken breast, Southern Comfort sweet chilli, cucumber and scallions) or the Seven Cheese Dip (a blend of seven cheeses, sun dried tomato, spinach, Glenfiiddich and served w/ toasted Baguette). Fancy a Mind F#*k?? No problem!! Did I mention that almost every item on their menu has a touch (or two) of alcohol?? Need I say more?
All you have to do, is head down there after our shows, show your VFW Ticket stub and you get in right away!
