Culturally Infused Accessories: Gypsy Wolf

Gypsy Wolf is a local accessory designer who explores textile arts through the process of dyeing, printing and inking. Raw materials such as, wool, fibers, yarn and leather, is enhanced with delicate beading, hand embroidery and opulent inks to make them truly unique pieces of jewelry.
Gypsy Wolf inherited the natural creative ability from her own gypsy mother. As they drove across the B.C Coast, they experimented with handmade jewelry and vintage clothing. Once majoring in Textile Science, Gypsy Wolf decided to form her own line of accessories that embodies her aboriginal/gypsy origins.
By combining traditional forms of craft and contemporary styling, each item is designed and made by hand. From feathered moccasins, shawls & scarves, purses and various bags, as well as accessories. For more on her eclectic collection can be seen here.
